M&C buys The Waterfront Hotel in New Zealand

On Feb 2, global hotel company Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C) announced that it has acquired The Waterfront Hotel in New Zealand.

Located at Egmont Street in New Plymouth, the 42-unit hotel will be rebranded the Millennium Hotel New Plymouth, Waterfront in 2Q2018. The property sits on a prime waterfront site and offers picturesque views of the coast.

Built in 2003, the three-storey hotel comprises 39 hotel suites, two penthouse apartments and one executive apartment. Facilities include the award-winning Salt Restaurant, which features uninterrupted views overlooking the ocean, says M&C.
