Moore House launched in Singapore

SINGAPORE: A new residential development named after famous British artist Henry Moore will be launched in Singapore on the weekend of Oct 25 and 26.

Called Moore House, the 147- unit development is located in London’s Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and is near the shops on King’s Road, the picturesque River Thames as well as restaurants and clubs in Sloane Square.

The development by London Metric Property plc was completed in 2012, and is expected to draw buyers interested in immediate occupation or rental income, according to Linda Chern, director of international project marketing at Knight Frank, who is marketing the development.

“Moore House is an attractive option for investors looking for long-term yields,” she says.

“The project is set to benefit from nearby redevelopments such as Chelsea Barracks and Battersea Power Station.” The project is also near Royal Hospital, Knightsbridge and is a 12-minute walk from the Sloane Square underground station.

It is just a five-minute train ride to Westminster, and a seven-minute journey to Embankment.

Schools such as Imperial College London, Royal Academy of Music and Kings College London are also a short train ride away.

About 30 units of the 147-unit Moore House will be available for sale in Singapore.

They include a mix of one- to three-bedroom apartments, with sizes ranging from 583 to 1,300 sq ft.

Prices are from £860,000 ($1.8 million) to £2.5 million.

Some of the apartments and penthouses have balconies and spacious living areas.

The apartments are fully fitted with Miele kitchen appliances, under-floor heating and Duravit Vero sanitaryware in the bathrooms.

Facilities in the development include a 24-hour concierge service, gym and spa, on-site food store and secure parking.
