Singapore-based SilverNeedle unveils new hotel in Perth

Singapore-based hospitality group SilverNeedle Hospitality opened its latest hotel, Sage Hotel West Perth, in Western Australia a fortnight ago. The A$35 million ($35 million) development was jointly undertaken by SilverNeedle and Perth-based private property development and investment group Australian Development Capital.
Sage Hotel West Perth is SilverNeedle’s third Sage-branded hotel in Australia. The other two hotels are Sage Hotel Adelaide and Sage Hotel Wollongong. According to SilverNeedle, there are three more Sage hotels in the pipeline, namely Sage Hotel Fortitude Valley Brisbane, Sage Windsor Brisbane and Sage Resort Darwin. All three hotels will be ready between 2017 and 2018.
Founded by Nadathur Group, SilverNeedle currently has 54 properties under management and more than 3,520 rooms. Nadathur Group is a private investment firm founded by former Infosys co-founder Nadathur S Raghava.
