Strong sales at Cairnhill Nine, The Wisteria

Two residential developments which were launched for sale over the weekend of March 12-13 drew strong interest from buyers. These were namely Cairnhill Nine located just off Orchard Road in prime District 9 and The Wisteria in Yishun. Both projects saw about half their units snapped up over two days.
CapitaLand sold 134 out of the 200 units, or about 67% of the units released for sale at Cairnhill Nine. The project contains a total of 268 units, and this translates to 50% sales in the entire project. The 99-year leasehold development is mixed-use, and contains a block with 268 residential units and another block with 220 serviced apartments branded The Ascott Singapore. The project is scheduled for completion by end of this year. Average price of units sold was $2,500 psf.
116 units out of 138 units were sold at The Wisteria during launch weekend of March 12 - 13 at average prices of $1,030 psf to $1,050 psf.
In the northern region of Yishun, The Wisteria saw equally strong interest, with buyers snapping up 116 out of 138 units or 84% of the units released. The 99-year leasehold project contains 216 apartments sitting on top of a two-storey retail mall to be managed by Keppel Land Retail Management. This means that 53% of the total units have been sold in the project, with prices averaging $1,030 psf to $1,050 psf.
