Tricia Song and Linda Chern join CBRE

CBRE Singapore has announced two key leadership appointments. Tricia Song will join the company as head of research for Southeast Asia on July 5, and Linda Chern joins as head of residential services for Singapore from July 1. Song has more than 20 years of experience in strategic research for equity and commercial real estate markets. Prior to her new appointment, Song was head of Singapore research at Colliers International. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Nanyang Technological University, with a major in Financial Analysis and a minor in Applied Economics.
At CBRE she will oversee research teams across Southeast Asia and lead the publication of analysis, insights and forecasts of trends across the different real estate sectors. She will report to Dr. Henry Chin, global head of thought leadership and Asia Pacific head of research at CBRE.

Linda Chern is a veteran in the real estate industry in Singapore with 20 years of experience focusing on the residential sector. She joins CBRE from Knight Frank Singapore and has a track record in high-end residential sales.
“Singapore has always been a favourite among well-heeled investors and wealthy overseas buyers for trophy residential assets such as penthouses and good class bungalows. I look forward to working closely with clients and the team, leveraging my experience and knowledge to grow the business,” says Chern.

She will lead the Residential Services team at CBRE in marketing ultra-luxury and high-end residential properties and projects, on both the sales and leasing fronts. She will report to Moray Armstrong, managing director of Singapore advisory services.
“High-end residential real estate is an intensely competitive and dynamic niche sector, which has been bolstered by an influx of high net-worth individuals and the growth of family offices,” says Armstrong. He adds: “I am confident that (Chern’s) wealth of experience will help drive our residential sales and lettings operations to even greater heights.”
