Business leaders, entrepreneurs, sponsors and supporters came together at Laguna National Golf Resort Club on July 1 for the Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) Fundraising Golf Challenge 2026.
The annual charity event brought together golf, networking and fundraising in support of SOE’s youth-focused programmes, which aim to promote entrepreneurship and connect young people with established business leaders.
Founded in 2003, SOE is a non-profit Institution of a Public Character that promotes entrepreneurship in Singapore by honouring local entrepreneurs and inspiring youths through mentorship, education and knowledge-sharing.

Selected par-three holes also came with hole-in-one prizes, with $100,000 cash prizes and BMW cars listed among the rewards
Through initiatives such as the Student Interviewer Programme (SIP), SOE gives students the chance to interview business leaders and learn directly from their entrepreneurial journeys.
Funds raised from the event will also support SOE’s flagship youth initiatives, including the Student Entrepreneur Programme (SEP) which introduces students to business fundamentals through real-world simulations, career talks and learning journeys.

Jocelyn Tan, co-chairperson of the SOE Fundraising Golf Challenge and group CEO of Apex Asia Management Group, says this year’s turnout and support were a strong affirmation of SOE’s mission.
“Together, SIP and SEP equip students with the confidence, mindset, and practical experience to become future entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers,” she adds. “The continued support from our donors, sponsors, and partners allows SOE to reach more students and create even more opportunities for young Singaporeans to discover and develop their entrepreneurial potential.”

The auction raised over $45,000, contributing to the more than $405,000 raised in total from this year’s challenge. Funds raised from the challenge will go towards sustaining SOE’s operations and programmes.
Auction items included a Masters flag signed by Tiger Woods
Beyond fundraising, the challenge also gave Singapore’s business and entrepreneurial community a platform to connect outside the boardroom.
For SOE, the event reflects how corporate support, philanthropy and entrepreneurship can come together to create opportunities for young people.
As the event concluded, SOE reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs through mentorship, education and community support.
