Global hospitality group Hilton is set to introduce eight brands under its luxury and lifestyle segment across different Asia Pacific (Apac) markets this year. In an April 27 press release, the group said that more than 15 openings are planned for the region under this segment in 2026.
The new hotels will add to Hilton’s existing portfolio of over 170 luxury and lifestyle hotels that are already operational in Apac, bringing it closer to its goal of surpassing 250 hotels in the coming years.
Two of the brands — NoMad and Signia by Hilton — are completely new to the Apac region. A NoMad property, NoMad Hilton Singapore, is scheduled to open in the city-state in the second half of 2026, according to UOL Group's annual report published in early April. UOL had appointed Hilton in May 2025 to manage the 173-key hotel at the former Faber House site along Orchard Road.

Meanwhile, the 344-key Signia by Hilton Tainan, located in Taiwan is slated to open this July. Rolling out both Singapore and Taiwan hotels will bring Hilton's total presence in Apac to 16 brands — more than half of its 27-brand portfolio.
Other brand debuts include Canopy. which will launch its first Southeast Asia property with the 174-room Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit. Elsewhere, Curio Collection by Hilton and LXR Hotels & Resorts will land in South Asia for the first time, with properties in Bengaluru, India.
In Malaysia, Hilton will introduce the Waldorf Astoria and Conrad brands with two new properties in Kuala Lumpur that are both scheduled to open by the end of 2026. Meanwhile, Vietnam will see its first Tapestry Collection by Hilton with NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An. That is expected to open in August this year.
Beyond the brand launches, Hilton has also signed several other new properties across its luxury and lifestyle segment this year. These include two LXR Hotels & Resorts properties in Japan’s Tokyo and Hakone Gora, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Chiang Mai, and a Waldorf Astoria hotel in Goa, India.
The Apac region "remains a powerful growth engine for Hilton, and this latest wave of brand entries reflects the strong demand we are seeing from owners for differentiated, high-performing brands,” says Alan Watts, president of Hilton, Apac.
