Well-being development Therme to open at Marina South in 2030, with saunas, water slides, hydromassage

Therme Singapore is anticipated to have more than 20 pools and water attractions, over 70 wellness treatment rooms, tropical landscapes, and family friendly experiences.

These will take up more than 720,000 sq ft of gross floor area across seven levels, according to a June 19 press release.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on June 19, with the large-scale well-being destination expected to open at Marina South in 2030.

In addition, F&B offerings will take up about 86,000 sq ft of space.

As for the landscaping, Therme Singapore will have more than 200,000 plants from more than 200 species, including orchids and native Southeast Asian varieties, the press release states.

Beyond the development, a coastal public park spanning almost 4ha will be created to connect Therme Singapore with Marina Barrage.

Therme Singapore is developed by Therme Group in partnership with Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore), and designed by DP Architects and Therme ARC, the in-house architects of Therme Group.

Announced in November 2025, it is Therme Group’s first project in Asia.
