SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Accor will open the first hotel under the Mondrian brand in the Duxton Hill neighbourhood in early 2023. The property is currently being developed by Craig Road Property Holdings.

Mondrian Singapore will be a luxury lifestyle hotel designed by DP Architects and Studio Carter. The property will feature a three-storey building with loft suites, as well as a contemporary tower that houses the majority of the hotel’s 300 guest rooms, a rooftop bar and pool, restaurant and lounge.

Sun You Ning, director of Craig Road Property Holdings, says: “Mondrian Singapore will provide guests an opportunity to stay in the heart of Duxton Hill, a vibrant heritage conservation area surrounded by Michelin-starred eateries, award-winning bars, and iconic retail stores – all within walking distance to the CBD.”

It is one of the first Mondrian properties that Accor will be opening following its acquisition of sbe’s hotel brands. Accor aims to open seven additional Mondrian hotels globally, including Mondrian Gold Coast in 2023, Mondrian Shoreditch in 2Q2021, and Mondrian Bordeaux and Mondrian Cannes in France in 2022.

Last November, Accor announced a joint venture with London-based owner and developer, Ennismore. The all-share merger will bring together a portfolio of 12 brands, which includes Mondrian.
