Adidas, a global leader in sports, announced that it will be relocating to West Bund Central, Shanghai. An 18.3 million sq ft mixed-use development with offices and serviced apartments, Westbund Central is located along Shanghai's Xuhai Waterfront. It is one of Hongkong Land's most significant single investments.

Adidas will be the sole tenant in the building, and will occupy the entire space of around 348,750 sq ft across 18 floors. The handover of the building is scheduled to take place in 1Q2026, with full occupancy expected by 4Q2026.

The lease is among the largest Grade-A office deals in Shanghai since 2023.

Adidas’ new office will accommodate more than 1,500 employees. It will include various staff facilities such as a whole-floor gym. The office is also near the Adidas Runbase, the brand's first 24/7 public running hub in China. This has been Shanghai's premier running destination for over a decade.

“This relocation signifies our commitment to deepen and drive growth in adidas’ development in Shanghai and China,” said Adidas' managing director of Greater China, Adrian Siu.
