CBRE appoints Ananth Ramchandran to lead hotel advisory business in Asia

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - CBRE has announced the appointment of Ananth Ramchandran as head of advisory & strategic transactions, hotels & hospitality, Asia, effective April 11. In a press release on the same day, CBRE states that Ramchandran will lead CBRE’s hotel advisory business in the region, including offering advice to owners and operators on the growing branded residential segment.

He will also be responsible for driving the strategic hotel and hospitality transaction business that includes portfolio sales, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and capital transactional services for both debt and equity.

Prior to the appointment at CBRE, Ramchandran was at IHG Hotels & Resorts, where he served as vice-president of capital investments & transactions and global head of branded residential. In this capacity, he drove IHG Hotels’ investment and asset management business in Asia Pacific and played a leading role in the acquisitions of the Regent and Six Senses brands.
