Centurion Corporation is purchasing a key worker accommodation (KWA) asset in South Hedland, Western Australia, for A$28.55 million ($26 million). The Singapore Exchange-listed company announced the acquisition on April 27, just a week after it announced the A$45 million purchase of its first KWA asset — a worker accommodation complex in Karratha, Western Australia — on April 20.

The latest property being acquired is Concorde South — a freehold, six-storey, purpose-built facility in South Headland — located within Western Australia’s mining-focused Pilbara region.

Occupying 57,888 sq ft, the site comprises 77 apartments, consisting of one- to three-bedroom units, with a total of 125 beds. The operational facility caters to key workers in the mining and resources sector, as well as government and healthcare services.

The deal further propels Centurion’s push into the KWA sector. “We are moving with intent to scale this new segment, alongside our established worker and student accommodation businesses,” says Kong Chee Min, CEO of Centurion Corp.

The company says that Concorde South was independently valued at $29.1 million as at Dec 11, 2025. Centurion will be funding the purchase through internal resources and external financing. It adds that the property is expected to be earnings accretive when the acquisition is completed.
