This year marks the ninth edition of the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards.

Every year, this event reminds me why we do what we do. Beyond celebrating outstanding developments, these awards are really about people — the ideas, the execution, and the purpose built into every project, creating spaces and communities that enrich lives across Singapore.

Tonight, we celebrate not just the winners, but the teams behind them — the developers, architects, consultants, and marketers who bring these projects to life and continue to shape Singapore’s ever-evolving property landscape.

Beyond our usual categories — and of course, the coveted Top Developer Awards — we’re especially honoured to welcome JTC as a participant for the very first time. This marks the first involvement by a government agency, underscoring how far the industry has come, and how the public sector continues to play an active role in shaping spaces that serve both business and community.

We are also presenting the Personality of the Year Award, conferred biennially to honour someone who has been truly pivotal in driving the industry forward. This special recognition celebrates leadership, influence, and impact — qualities that inspire all of us to aim higher and do better.

These awards reflect not only excellence in placemaking but also the diligence behind identifying it. Our judges — together with our sustainability partner CPG Corporation, and knowledge partner KPMG — undertook a rigorous and independent review process, assessing, discussing, and verifying every entry through both quantitative and qualitative measures before deciding on this year’s winners.

Now, I’d like to take this opportunity to share an important update about EdgeProp itself.

In the months ahead, EdgeProp will be embarking on a new journey — one that will see us operate independently from The Edge Singapore, starting Jan 1, 2026.

Why this change? For many years, EdgeProp and The Edge Singapore have shared resources and people, building something meaningful together. But as both organisations evolved, so did our core missions. The Edge Singapore will continue to be a leading business and investment publication.

EdgeProp, on the other hand, has grown beyond the traditional boundaries of a media company. By focusing fully on real estate, we aim to become a truly integrated property platform — with both online and offline presence — dedicated to helping people understand property and make smarter real estate decisions.

This decision was not made lightly. But it is one we believe is essential for our growth — to be bolder, more innovative, and yes, a little edgier. It will allow us to tell richer stories, market without constraints, and serve all of you — our readers, users, and business partners — even better.

In the months ahead, you’ll see us deepen our editorial coverage, expand our physical distribution, invest in new digital tools, and continue to strengthen our role as a trusted voice in property.

To everyone here tonight [Oct 16, 2025]: thank you for growing with us, for your trust, and for your continued support. To our long-time partners — V-Zug, Mitsubishi Electric, and Geberit — these awards would not have been possible without your steadfast partnership.

And finally, to all our finalists and winners — congratulations. Your work sets the benchmark for excellence in our industry. The future of property in Singapore is bright, and we’re proud to be part of that journey — together with you.

Methodology

A total of 58 projects participated in the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards 2025. The panel of judges evaluated the submissions across six core categories: Design, Innovation, Landscape, Sustainability, Showflat, and Marketing.

Three new categories were also introduced this year — Landmark Conservation, Top Office Development, Top Integrated Development and Top Sustainable Developer.

The judging criteria and scoring matrix combined both qualitative and quantitative components. Each judge was required to identify and declare any potential conflicts of interest — for instance, if they were involved in a project’s design — and subsequently abstain from assessing that entry.

Based on the preliminary scores, projects were shortlisted for site visits. Following the visits, judges were permitted to amend their scores. The final results were then tabulated and reviewed by KPMG Singapore before the winners were announced.

Projects with the highest aggregate scores received the Top Development Award, while the three developers with the highest overall scores were named Top Developers of 2025.

This year, CPG Corporation served as the knowledge partner for the Sustainability Excellence Award category, lending its expertise to the formulation of the qualitative and quantitative components, judging methodology, and scoring matrix.

Given the growing importance of sustainability in the built environment, two developers with the highest sustainability scores were also conferred the title of Top Sustainable Developer 2025.

More than an annual accolade, the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards 2025 reflects the industry’s shared pursuit of excellence — recognising the vision, craftsmanship, and sustainable ideals that continue to define Singapore’s evolving built environment.
