Hilton and YTL hotels, a subsidiary arm of Malaysia’s YTL Corp Bhd, signed multiple property agreements to bring the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand to Thailand and Tapestry Collection by Hilton to Japan.

The Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village will be parked under its LXR Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Meanwhile, Green Leaf Niseko Village will join the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Hinode Hills Niseko Village will be part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

All of the Japanese properties are conversions from existing hospitality assets and are targeted to open at the end of the year. For instance, The Kasara Niseko Village is a conversion of the eight-villa Kasara Niseko Village Townhouse, while The Green Leaf Niseko Village is a conversion of the existing 200-room hotel of the same name.

All three hotels in Japan are situated at the foot of Mount Annupuri, within Niseko Village Ski Resort itself. They provide guests easy access to Niseko's globally famous powder-soft ski slopes.

The upcoming 275-room Rawai Phuket will be located at the southernmost tip of the island of Phuket, offering a private beachfront and access to other nearby islands. The new hotel will add to Hilton’s luxury stronghold within Thailand, attracting luxury travellers to Phuket.

The addition of Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village will increase LXR Hotels & Resorts’ global portfolio to nearly 20 trading and pipeline properties. These properties exemplify LXR’s focus on adventure, delivered through a personalised and luxurious experience for guests.

The Green Leaf Niseko Village will become part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, joining over 170 hotels worldwide that emphasise a blend of local cuisine and vibrant design.

Hinode Hills Niseko Village will join the Curio Collection by Hilton, a portfolio of 180 properties internationally, featuring distinct, upscale architecture designed to showcase each property’s unique story.

“These hotels will each transform the potential of their destinations, offering new stay options for visitors, and each well-positioned to provide an elevated hospitality experience,” said Dato’ Mark Yeo Seok Kah, executive director of YTL Hotels.
