Manila to welcome first Canopy by Hilton hotel in 2026

Hilton and Ayala Land Hospitality have announced the opening of Canopy by Hilton Makati, the first property under the lifestyle hotel brand in the Philippines. The 24-storey hotel, located next to the One Ayala development in Makati, is scheduled to open next year.
According to an Aug 13 release, the 400-key hotel is expected to offer both rooms and suites. Guests will also have access to various amenities, including a destination restaurant, rooftop bar with skyline views and a hidden speakeasy.
Other facilities include a pool deck, a fully-equipped gym offering group classes and meeting spaces for hosting weddings and celebrations.

“Metro Manila is ripe for a fresh perspective on hospitality, and we believe Canopy’s lifestyle
approach will resonate with both local and international guests,” says Maria Ariizumi, vice president of development in South East Asia at Hilton.
Canopy by Hilton Makati will form part of Hilton’s Canopy portfolio, which includes more than 40 properties across 14 countries and territories, with more than 40 in the pipeline.
