The Katong area in District 15 is a unique and vibrant place to live in. Not only is it a heritage area, it has a plethora of local food options, yoga studios and gyms. Good schools abound from kindergarten to junior college levels, shopping centres are nearby and East Coast Park is just a stone’s throw away.

The proximity to the Katong cultural enclave is one of the key selling points of Global Dragon’s Infini at East Coast, a 36-unit freehold development built on the site of the previous Katong Omega Apartments.

Right across the road, there is Penny University, an artisanal cafe that serves coffee and brunch, and Beach Road Prawn Noodle House, famed for noodles with jumbo prawns in a thick broth. The rows of shophouses at the heart of Katong that house an eclectic mix of bars, bistros, laksa eateries and Peranakan restaurants are only about 500m away, opening up more options where residents of Infini can wine, dine and shop.

The development is a great home for families with growing children. It is within the 1km radius of reputable schools such as Tao Nan School and CHIJ (Katong) Primary School. Preschool children can go to Nafa Arts Kindergarten, a four-minute walk away, or Pat’s Schoolhouse at Katong, which is within a minute’s drive away. Chung Cheng High School (Main), Tanjong Katong Girls’ School, Tanjong Katong Secondary School and Victoria Junior College are coveted education institutions within the 3km radius.

Aside from being within a short drive or bus ride to Parkway Parade and I12 Katong, the development is well-connected to the rest of Singapore via the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE). Whether it is the Central Business District, Marina Bay or Changi Airport, you can get to your destination in approximately 15 minutes.

Plus, with the upcoming Marine Terrace MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line ready by 2023, residents at Infini will enjoy easy connectivity to Marina Bay, the CBD and Orchard Road, since the development is only a six-minute walk to the entrance of the station.

Residents can cycle by the beach, wakeboard, windsurf and do other leisure activities at the nearby East Coast Park. The best part is, Katong and East Coast are well-connected by park connectors, so cycling to the leisure spots is safe and comfortable. One could even cycle all the way to Gardens by the Bay without going on the roads.

Inside the homes at Infini, buyers can expect quality fittings and appliances. For starters, the living and dining areas will come with full marble flooring. Fascina UPVC windows help to reduce noise and water seepage. The kitchen counters are fitted with a quartz kitchen countertop and De Dietrich kitchen appliances. In the bathrooms, there are quality Hansgrohe sanitary fittings and sanitaryware.

To enter an Infini home, you use a Samsung digital lock or notify your arrival via a Fermax smart home system, if you are a guest. Facilities within the development compound include a barbecue pit area, a 25m-long swimming pool, aqua gym, jacuzzi and a playground.

Buyers have a variety of choices within the five-storey building. On top of the two-, three- and four-bedroom units, there are eight three-bedroom dual-key units and eight four-bedroom dual-key units.

The three penthouses in the development are namely: a three-bedroom penthouse and maid’s room (1,604 sq ft), four-bedroom penthouse (1,636 sq ft) and four-bedroom penthouse and maid’s room (1,722 sq ft).

Prices at Infini start from $1,800 psf, which is a competitive price point for a freehold development in District 15. The project is slated for TOP in June 2022.
