Jenny Zhang appointed as ULI’s Asia Pacific director, ESG and decarbonisation

Leading its ESG initiatives in the Asia Pacific region, Zhang will be integral to ULI’s efforts to deliver on its global mission priority to decarbonise the real estate sector, accelerate the path to net zero, and increase building value across the built environment.

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - The Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Randal Lewis Centre for Sustainability in Real Estate has appointed Jenny Zhang as its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) & decarbonisation director for the Asia Pacific region.

“I see myself as a builder of everything from products to teams to ecosystems and I love working at the intersection of technology, design, and finance to drive decarbonisation in various industries. “I am excited to join the impressive team at ULI and further progress ULI’s thought leadership in the real estate sustainability and decarbonisation space,” says Zhang.

Previously, Zhang was at Deloitte for six years advising on international merger and acquisition transactions. She is also a licensed CPA and a trainer in social impact assessment and design thinking.



Zhang will report to Marta Schantz, senior vice-president at ULI Greenprint Centre for Building Performance. Zhang will contribute to ULI’s mission to decarbonise the real estate sector in the region as well as finding ways to build value across the built environment.
