Knight Frank has appointed Dan Dixon as head of capital markets for Asia Pacific (Apac). Dixon, who spent 10 years in Knight Frank’s London capital markets team, is based in Singapore for his new role, which took effect on Sept 1.
The appointment reflects Knight Frank’s commitment to expanding its Apac business, the firm says in a press release. “The region continues to attract significant international investor interest, while Asian sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors are actively seeking global diversification opportunities,” adds Craig Shute, Knight Frank’s CEO for Apac.
Dixon’s work in Knight Frank’s London capital markets team include advising British Land and Singapore’s GIC on raising approximately US$800 million of joint venture capital for a City of London office tower development, advising M&G on raising approximately US$100 million of joint venture capital for a West End London office development, and advising Magnificent Hotel Investments (a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s Shun Ho Group) on the US$50 million acquisition of a hotel development.
