SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - EdgeProp Singapore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with EcoProp to supply overseas property buyers with the most up-to-date information on Singapore condominium launches.

EcoProp is an app that focuses on the latest condominium project launches in Singapore. There, property agents and potential condominium buyers will get to peruse the latest information on the various projects that they’re interested in.

For instance, users of the app will be able to visit a project’s show flat virtually, as well as see the number of units that are still available within the project.

EcoProp comes under the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment under MixGo, a technology company that is focused primarily on augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).

MixGo, which was founded in 2015, was previously in the B2B segment, where it created sales kits for condominium launches for property developers and property agencies.

EcoProp was created in 2018. It is available on iTunes and Google Play stores.

The MOU was signed by EdgeProp Singapore’s CEO Bernard Tong and MixGo founder Guan Wen Bing on Sept 17.

Under the agreement, EdgeProp Singapore will provide EcoProp with its English and Mandarin news articles and feature stories. The articles will feature on EcoProp’s newly-created news tab.

Meanwhile, through EcoProp’s channels, EdgeProp Singapore’s content will be introduced to the Chinese market, where prospective buyers will get detailed information on new launches in Singapore.

On Guan’s decision to enter into the B2C segment, he says, “the move to reach out to the end consumers came naturally, as we were already creating sales kits for property developers and agencies. This meant we had all the information on hand.”

“With that, we thought consumers or property buyers would be interested to have access to all the information they require at their fingertips,” he adds.

Guan, who is trained as an architect, also founded Singapore-based Audax Visuals, a one-stop visualisation company, in 2010.

At Audax Visuals, the team uses the latest 3D technology to help developers, architects, developers, and urban planners present their projects through perspectives, animation and scale models.

On the partnership, Guan expressed his thanks to his clients and partners for their support.

“We would also like to thank EdgeProp Singapore for the opportunity. The collaboration marks a great start to our partnership and we look forward to enjoying a long-term relationship in future.”

Tong says: “With this partnership, EdgeProp Singapore and EcoProp seek to make the property industry more efficient through the use of technology, virtual tours, and content.”

“It is also about coming together, where we pool our resources and put our content together,” he adds.

EcoProp, on Oct 14, also entered into a partnership with property agency ERA, where ERA’s agents will enjoy first-hand features on the app.

“We are excited to collaborate with MixGo to enhance users’ experience while researching for their next property or dream home. We aim to enhance and bring the best experiences to our clients while removing pain points during their decision-making journey in real estate,” says Marcus Chu, CEO of ERA Singapore.

“This collaboration expands the possibilities of digital content and how it can help to provide useful and essential information in the real estate industry. We strive to lead the forefront of a technology revolution with our trusted advisers and help them navigate a rapidly changing world,” Chu adds.

'Utilising our precise search engine, and state-of-the-art VR technologies, we are confident the implementation of the EcoProp will improve home seekers’ decision making and help agents streamline their work productivity,” says Guan.
