Insh Island, a 90-acre island located off Scotland’s west coast, has been put up for sale. "Insh Island represents a truly unique opportunity to acquire one of Scotland's last untouched private islands,” says Cameron Ewer, head of residential for Scotland at Savills, which is marketing the property. The island is priced from GBP500,000 (about $864,000).
Insh Island lies within the Inner Hebrides, an archipelago off Scotland’s west coast. Situated near Easdale, the smallest inhabited island in Scotland, it can be reached by private boat or helicopter. Easdale is roughly a three-hour drive from Glasgow.
The island features rugged terrain with cliffs, a natural freshwater spring, and surrounding waters that are home to seals, dolphins and a variety of seabirds, says Savills. Ewer adds: “With its breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and potential for sustainable development, Insh Island is a sanctuary of peace and natural beauty.”

Savills says the island has potential as a glamping site, eco-lodge or small-scale organic farm. “As demand for exclusive, eco-conscious destinations continues to grow, this island is ideally suited for tourism, wellness retreats, or even use as a film location,” the firm adds.
