PropNex Realty, Singapore’s largest real estate agency by salesforce, has appointed Marcus Luah as chief growth officer (CGO), a newly created role announced at the firm’s gala on April 17.

The position is aimed at strengthening PropNex’s growth trajectory and driving key strategic initiatives across the organisation.

In his new capacity, Luah will work closely with chief agency officer Eddie Lim and CEO Kelvin Fong to spearhead strategies to expand the salesforce, including talent recruitment, retention, and leadership development.

He will also continue to lead his own team alongside this expanded portfolio.

The appointment reflects PropNex’s ongoing focus on leadership development and succession planning, with an emphasis on grooming leaders with deep industry knowledge and strong on-the-ground experience.

As part of this leadership pipeline, PropNex introduced its Agency Vice President (AVP) framework in 2023, with Luah among the inaugural group of five AVPs identified for their leadership potential.

With close to two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Luah joined PropNex in 2012 at the age of 30. Since then, he has built a network of more than 200 team leaders and over 5,000 salespersons.

He has also attained the PropNex Millionaire title for five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025.

Commenting on the appointment, Fong said he had personally recruited Luah in 2012. “I have witnessed his remarkable growth, both as a top-performing salesperson and a leader,” he says. “Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to grow leaders, build people and drive results.”

Fong adds that Luah will play a key role in accelerating growth, strengthening the salesforce and “unlocking opportunities for our people”.

“Together, we will continue to build the next generation of leaders, empower our network of salespersons and create even greater value for the entire PropNex community,” he says.
