Real estate investor-developer-operator Frasers Property has announced that Soon Su Lin will step down as its Singapore CEO and transition to the role of adviser with effect from Oct 1 this year.
In her place, Tan Wee Hsien — currently with CapitaLand Development (CLD) — will join Frasers Property Singapore as CEO designate from Sept 8, before succeeding Soon as CEO on Oct 1.
Tan will oversee the strategic direction, investments, operations and development management of Frasers Property’s retail, commercial, residential and mixed-use portfolio in Singapore, the group said in a July 3 bourse filing.

In her upcoming group advisory role, Soon will support group CEO, Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi. She will also continue to serve as a director on the boards of One Bangkok and Frasers Centrepoint Trust’s manager.
The appointments follow a planned succession process to ensure continuity for the team, customers, and partners, the group noted in the announcement.
The incoming CEO of Frasers Property Singapore brings three decades of experience in real estate across Asia Pacific, spanning multiple asset classes.
At CLD, Tan is currently CEO for Vietnam and international, a role he has held since February 2025. Prior to that, he was CLD’s CEO for new business and strategic planning from Sept 2022 to January 2025, overseeing new markets, corporate planning, investment strategy, and key sustainability strategies and initiatives.
Before joining CLD, Tan served as CEO of MCL Land as well as director and head of development property for South Asia at Hongkong Land, from 2007 to 2022.
Meanwhile, Soon has been with the Frasers Property group for more than nine years and has led its Singapore business since April 2022.

She had been CEO, development in Thailand before returning to Singapore. In Thailand, she led landmark projects including The Parq and the development phase of One Bangkok — one of the largest integrated developments in the country.
In Singapore, under her leadership, the development business deepened its capital partnerships and joint ventures, which co-developed several projects including The Orie, the upcoming Dunearn House, a prime site at Kallang Close, and the redevelopment of the former Robertson Walk and Fraser Place into The Robertson Opus.
On the investment side, Soon strengthened the Singapore portfolio through acquisitions, capital recycling, asset enhancement and sustainability initiatives. The business secured greater ownership of The Centrepoint, acquired NEX with Frasers Centrepoint Trust, and completed the asset enhancements of Tampines 1 and Alexandra Point.
