ERA Realty Network, the second-largest property agency in Singapore, is no longer facing a lawsuit in which the claimants had sought $731,212 in damages.

Apac Realty, which wholly owns ERA and is listed on the Singapore Exchange, said in a bourse filing on June 19 that the claimants have discontinued and withdrawn the suit.

It added that there is no material impact on the group’s financial position and performance for 2026 arising from this matter.

Back in February, the claimants were looking to sue ERA and two other co-defendants for alleged breach of duty of care and/or vicarious liability arising from the alleged negligent misrepresentation of one of the agency’s salespersons on a property transaction.

Apac Realty had said then that it was seeking legal advice and intended to "vigorously defend" the suit, which was filed in the High Court of Singapore.

Previously, a homebuyer had withdrawn his $180,945 lawsuit against ERA, its agent and a conveyancing law firm over a 99-to-1 deal for a new-launch condo unit. The buyer had filed that suit in May 2025, but is said to have dropped it in January 2026.
