Eight strata retail units located on the ground floor of Plus, an office building at 20 Cecil Street, are being launched for sale via expression of interest (EOI), with CBRE appointed as its exclusive marketing agent. These units can be purchased individually or collectively, with indicative prices ranging from $3.4 million to $6.9 million.
The units were previously put for sale by DB2, the building’s developer, in May 2024 with prices from $3.8 million.
PLUS is a 28-storey, Grade A office building with a two-storey retail podium located in the CBD. It is connected to Raffles Place MRT interchange on the North-South and East-West lines, with Telok Ayer MRT station on the Downtown Line just a three-minute walk away.
Situated at the junction of Church Street and Cecil Street, these units benefit from street-level visibility and high footfall volume, says CBRE. Each unit is well-configured with efficient layouts, measuring from 388 to 807 sq ft. All units are fully tenanted and come equipped with F&B provisions, making them adaptable to different uses such as F&B outlets, medical clinics or flagship showrooms.
Clemence Lee, executive director of capital markets, CBRE Singapore, says, “These units are highly-prized for their rental resilience, underpinned by a strong retail catchment and the high-density footfall of the surrounding office population.”
As the assets are commercial units, foreigners are eligible to purchase without the additional buyer’s stamp duty (ABSD) or seller’s stamp duty (SSD) applied on the transaction.
The EOI exercise will close on Apr 23, at 3pm.
