At ERA, our success is built on the strength of our people and women have played a defining role in shaping our progress.
Across the real estate industry, women are an increasingly influential force. At ERA, they have built enduring careers and thriving businesses grounded in credibility, trust and sustained performance. Their leadership continues to shape our growth and long-term stability.
That belief in capability is reflected at the highest levels.
In 2013, Doris Ong became the first woman to join ERA’s C-suite when she was appointed Chief Operating Officer. In 2021, she was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer, further reinforcing ERA’s belief that leadership is defined by vision, integrity and results.

Empowerment at ERA goes beyond titles.
It is embedded in a culture of mentorship, collaboration and professional excellence. Structured training frameworks, advanced technology platforms and robust systems enable our people to build resilient businesses and lead with confidence.
This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women of ERA who are shaping the future of real estate through both performance and purpose.
At the heart of this belief is ERA EmpowHER.

Established as a dedicated council, ERA EmpowHER champions women’s leadership and creates meaningful opportunities for growth and impact within ERA and beyond.
The name is a purposeful play on “empower,” with “HER” intentionally highlighted. It reflects our commitment to uplifting women, amplifying their voices and enabling them to rise as influential leaders.
The Council brings together leaders and above who lead thriving teams. They are leaders of strong track record, grounded in character, who have achieved Millionaire or Rising Millionaire status and remain committed to mentoring and giving back.

EmpowHER stands as a council of influence, where leadership strengthens others and, in turn, strengthens ERA.
Its work is anchored on three pillars:
Mentorship: building confidence through guidance, shared experience and leadership development.
Community: fostering meaningful connection, collaboration and sustainable growth.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): grounding leadership in purpose beyond business and enabling meaningful social impact.
Together, these pillars form a holistic ecosystem that supports women professionally, personally and socially.

At ERA, when one woman rises, she lifts others alongside her. And when women rise together, the industry moves forward stronger, more purposeful and more resilient.
As Singapore’s largest international real estate agency and a wholly owned subsidiary of SGX-listed APAC Realty Limited, ERA has been redefining industry standards since 1982.
With over 21,900 Trusted Advisers across 561 offices in 14 countries and territories (as at 1 January 2026), ERA continues to lead in professionalism, people development and innovation.
Within this ecosystem, ERA EmpowHER stands as a reflection of our commitment to empowered leadership, inclusive growth and shared success.
