Momentus Hotel Alexandra is the flagship property under the Momentus Hotels & Resorts brand — the hospitality arm of SingHaiyi, a diversified real estate group.
The 442-room hotel occupies a prominent corner at Alexandra Road and Jalan Bukit Merah. Originally opened in July 2015 and operated by the Park Hotel Group, the property closed in August 2022. The hotel underwent a $15 million refurbishment and was rebranded as Momentus Hotel Alexandra. It opened its doors to guests on March 1, 2023.
Developed as part of the mixed-use development Alexandra Central by the former Chip Eng Seng Corp (now part of SingHaiyi), the hotel sits above a three-storey strata-titled retail podium (first to third levels) with parking from the fourth to sixth levels.

Even though it’s part of a mixed-use development, Momentus Hotel Alexandra has its own dedicated drop-off, entrance and lobby on the first level. The guestrooms occupy the seventh to 19th floors, offering unblocked views of the surrounding cityscape.
Designed by DP Architects, one of Singapore’s largest architectural practices, Alexandra Central’s 19-storey complex features a clean, modern façade in neutral tones and sleek lines. A vertical green wall at the entrance of Momentus Hotel Alexandra blends seamlessly with the lush streetscape along Alexandra Road.
In line with its sustainability goals, Momentus Hotel Alexandra has integrated eco-friendly practices throughout its refurbishment, says Felix Wong, the hotel’s general manager.

KKS International spearheaded the interior redesign, incorporating energy-efficient features such as smart digital thermostats in every room, filtration taps that provide direct drinking water, and biodegradable materials for dry bathroom amenities.
“We have embraced technology and innovation to enhance both guest experiences and operational efficiency,” Wong adds. Improvements were implemented across areas such as facility and resource management, water and energy efficiency, and food and waste management.

The interior of the hotel embodies a modern, nature-inspired aesthetic, says Wong. “It prioritises comfort and a sense of calm.”

He adds that the overall flow and atmosphere of the hotel have also been enhanced.
The hotel offers a variety of room categories — from Superior, Deluxe, and Premier rooms to Momentum Club rooms and Executive Suites — with sizes ranging from 258 sq ft to 517 sq ft. There are also meeting rooms and event venues for business travellers.

Guests can unwind at the 25m infinity pool on the seventh-floor lifestyle deck, taking in panoramic sunset views towards the southwest of Singapore. The space is anchored by the newly rebranded Verandah Pool Bar & Grill and Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie by Social F+B by Design. The new poolside bar has floor-to-ceiling glass and a swim-up bar.

At the topmost level — the 19th floor — is the Momentum Club Lounge, which offers uninterrupted views of the city skyline, says Wong. “It also provides privacy for our most discerning guests.”
This year, the property clinched the Best Upscale Hotel Award at the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards (EPEA) 2025.
Wong says the team aimed to create a hotel that blends aesthetic appeal with sustainability and meaningful guest experiences. The recent award, he adds, recognises their success in combining thoughtful design with an authentic guest experience.

Located in a prime city-fringe area, Momentus Hotel Alexandra appeals to both business and leisure travellers who value proximity to the city within a vibrant, local neighbourhood setting. According to Wong, the guest mix is roughly 60% business travellers and 40% leisure guests.
