Savills Singapore will be launching residences at 623 Collins, a mixed-use development in Melbourne, Australia, to Singapore buyers over the weekend of May 9 and 10.

The 42-storey development will feature 320 residences, along with over 2,700 sq m of offices and approximately 990 sq m of retail and hospitality spaces. Developed by Melbourne-based firm Sterling Global, the project is located at the corner of Collins Street and Spencer Street in the Melbourne CBD.

The site includes two heritage-listed buildings – the State Savings Bank and the Batman’s Hill Hotel – which will be restored and integrated into the new project. “At 623 Collins, we’ve taken a heritage building that has been part of Melbourne’s story for a century and reimagined it for modern living,” says Brandon Yeoh, director at Sterling Global.

Residences at 623 Collins are grouped into four collections (Heirloom, Signature, The Reserve and The Penthouse) with units comprising studio to three-bedroom units. Prices for the units are expected to start from approximately A$610,000 (around $562,100).

Residents will have access to lifestyle amenities including a sauna, spa, steam room and cold plunge, a pool, a gym and private dining facilities.

“Melbourne continues to stand out as a well-balanced market for Singapore investors, underpinned by steady population growth, a strong university ecosystem and sustained demand for centrally located housing,” says Adrian Lim, senior director and head of international residential sales at Savills Singapore.

Lim adds that Melbourne offers buyers a transparent regulatory environment and established rental demand, which helps provide confidence for long-term ownership.

Savills Singapore is holding a launch event for 623 Collins during the weekend of May 9 and 10 at Voco Orchard Hotel, from 11am to 6pm.
