Ucommune acquires Wedo in its third M&A deal this year

Chinese co-working space operator Ucommune, formerly known as UrWork, announced its acquisition of Shenzhen-based co-working player and incubator Wedo on March 28. The deal adds 12 co-working spaces with 60,000 sq m of total area to Ucommune’s portfolio and 300 enterprises to its network of members.
This is Ucommune’s third merger and acquisition this year. The previous deals brought Chinese co-working operators Hongtai New Space and Woo Space into its fold. Ucommune says it will continue to make strategic investments and acquisitions in Southern China.
