Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Rented two units there for 4years. my personal view: 1. Avoid Corner Top Floor unit if possible, because water slippage occurred easily during heavy downpour. Owner acted blur by not compensating our damages and the inconveniences caused during repair. After repair, it continues to leak. 2. Avoid units facing main road as the amount of traffic noise can be unbearable if you are a light sleeper or need quality of sleep The estate is easily accessible to nearby Expressway, Orchard or City. Nothing fancy about the facilities as it is always been over-abused by residents and their friends (Especially the pool). Positive note is, the MA is very helpful if you need them for any assistances. A general mix of different type of races / cultures within the estate."

"A nice condo in District 10, Bukit Timah Road Singapore. Very short walk (less than 250m) to Stevens MRT Downtown blue line (TE brown line to be completed in late 2022) and Orchards Road shopping belt. McDonald, Subway, Cold Storage and a cosy Cafe are located in the neighborhood. Dont miss it!"
