Spanning 13,150ha in land area, the region hosts Singapore's only UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many of the country's national monuments, such as the Merlion Park and Statue of Raffles. Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Best layout for families in the entire area, for the bigger units. As such good mix of families here. Tucked nicely away in Sims yet miutes walk to Aljunied mrt and the best food in Singapore. Great gym with good size with cable machine for a condo of this size. Pool somehow always shaded yet water is not icy at all. Easy bike ride to national stadium n MBS via new bike link or a quick ride down to joo chiat. "

"This is an amazing location with mins to the MRT makes transportation really good. 3stops to bugis, 4stops to city hall, 5stops to MBS, 6stops to downtown (Shenton way), 7stops to Orchard road. Immediate Amenities such as a wet market, hawker centre and coffee shops all just across the street. This makes day to day living a breeze. You wont be able to get such value for its location! "

"Penrose is located in the Aljunied area of the 14th postal district, which belongs to the fringe area of the center of Singapore, along the Shen's Passage. A development project jointly created by well-known developers Hong Leong Group and City Development Group (CDL). Aljunied is one of Singapore's most historic districts. In the ever-changing metropolis development of Singapore, it has always had a distinctive old-time style. Penrose is about 400 meters away from Aljunied MRT Station, about a 5-minute walk away. The unit types range from one-bedroom to four-bedroom, with a total of 566 units. The community facilities are very complete, such as a gym, clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis court, etc., as well as a nursery.
