5 ways to incorporate Pantone's Colour of the Year 2017 into your home

Pantone's Colour of the Year 2017 is Greenery. If you want to update your interior in Singapore, here's how you can add a dash of green into your living space.
“There’s a growing desire to reconnect with Nature and what is real, and find ways to disconnect from technology. We need a break. We need to stop and breathe,” Pantone Colour Institute’s vice president Laurie Pressman told Forbes.
And there’s no better place to recharge than in the sanctuary that’s your home. It makes sense, then, to add a dash of green to your living space. Green is the most abundant hue in nature – the human eye, in fact, sees more green than any other colour in the spectrum. So go ahead and infuse your home with the verdant hue; here are five ways how you can do so.
1. Clad your walls
Because of its soothing qualities, green works well as an all-over wall finish. For the most straightforward approach, paint your walls a solid green. If your aesthetic is more artsy-bohemian, consider Venetian plaster for a textured surface, or opt for a funky wallpaper like de Gournay’s Aruba Palms Eclectic. Or if luxe modernism is more your thing, try Studioart’s leather wallcoverings with geometric designs.
2. Anchor with a statement piece
Statement pieces are good if you want to introduce a trend without overpowering your living space.
