Cushman & Wakefield has announced two new senior leadership appointments within its global capital markets platform. Josh Cullen has been appointed as head of capital markets for Asia Pacific (Apac), effective June 1, while Gordon Marsden has been named as head of global capital for Apac and Emea (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

The appointment is a promotion for Cullen, who was previously the firm’s head of capital markets for Australia and New Zealand. In his new role, he will focus on deepening relationships with institutional investors, enhancing the firm's regional connectivity to drive revenue growth, and leading efforts to increase market share.

Cullen has over 20 years of experience in real estate, including eight years at Cushman & Wakefield.

He succeeds Marsden, who served as the firm’s Apac head of capital markets from 2022. In his new role as head of global capital for Apac and Emea, Marsden will focus on strengthening engagement with the large institutional investors, working closely with in-country teams, cross-border desks and strategic accounts to grow wallet share from top-tier clients.

Marsden has been with Cushman & Wakefield for nearly 20 years. He remains based in Asia for the new role.

In a June 3 release, Cushman & Wakefield said the appointments underscore the firm’s commitment to strengthening investor relationships and accelerating cross-border capital growth.
