Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Cosy nice tranquil home with garden features and amenities. Smallish mid-size project on a relatively large ground area which is not common for a freehold place in good district. MC and Security do a good maintaining the place. Owners are largely considerate neighbours and respectful of strata property community. A few expat tenants with some obnoxious self entitled behaviour and their kids have little respect for community and condo property - this small group tend to be loud, condescending and uncooperative towards MC if they cannot behave as they wish ignoring condo rules while complaining unashamedly on social media and review platforms to discredit the MC and Security. Frankly very lovely place if not for a few undesirable foreign tenants who hopefully more will just leave and go back to their home country or bring their disrespectful attitudes elsewhere. "

"Couldnt be happier to have found this place! Love the environment, friendly gardeners, well maintained and friendly security guards. Gym could be better though. But overall, very happy living here."

"Was just trying to pick up something but security made me feel like I was entering a police state, rudely warning me that he'll be watching me over the cameras. Was surprised at the number of disgruntled residents who recently posted their frustrations. Can totally understand why they feel this way."

"A beautiful place but feeling like you are not at home! Rules, rules, rules, forbidden, forbidden, forbidden!!! Guardians are sympathetics but under pressure by the management which dont care about tenants and are disrespectful!!!"

"A nice complex with good swimming pools and convenient location. However, the atmosphere has consistently and significantly declined over the last year. Facilities remained closed until just recently, without rational explanation to residents eg. children's playground, even though neighbourhood playgrounds have been open. The playground was finally opened this week, but with the new stipulation that residents book an hourly slot, saying social gatherings are limited to 5. Yet the use of a playground is not a social gathering and social distancing rules are no longer required with masks on. Overall, rules are made for the convenience of a minority of residents that regularly complain and send pictures to management; for example of children playing. Any and all complaints from tenants fall on deaf ears and are not taken into consideration; they are told to bring it up with their landlords. Management only cares about and listens to owners. Security, are supported and encouraged to call the police on residents, particularly children, rather than speaking directly to parents. This place could be great, if it was managed in a more professional and rationale way. Unfortunately it's not."

"Used to live in this condo when it was still child friendly, was already changing when we left, we still have friends there and saw the condo change in a place where families/children don't seem welcome anymore. Their playground and play area for example has been closed for ages. Too sad cause it could be a nice place but we are glad we left for a better one"."
