"One of the oldest parks in Singapore. If it survived the world war (2), it can't be a bad place... I guess The registry of marriage for Singapore citizens is located within the park as well, so don't be surprised to see wedding couples come hand in hand to celebrate life over here as well."

"Interesting place to have a meal. There are discounts for SMU students with their student ID card. As with any good court, there are no less than 10 different stalls offering unique / non repeat type of food available."

"Came here for the Singapore Bicentennial show. To be honest it was really quite good. I do not have high expectations when my wife dragged me here. I thought it was just one of those wayans that Singapore public service organization has to do because some one up there said so. But it was quite well done and creative in the way it was presented. Kudos to the team who created the show. Not bad at all, worth a visit if you have not been and it's free. If you run out of things to do over the weekend go see this. Please book in advance though. By the way take a walk around Fort Canning park. It has also been transformed. Much better than I last remembered. Good place to spend a couple of hours there."
