Singapore-listed global hospitality company Banyan Tree Holdings saw revenue rising 35% y-o-y to $271.3 million for the second half of 2025, while net profit declined by 7% to $33.5 million from a year earlier.
The growth in group revenue was driven primarily by higher revenue recognition in its residences segment, but partially offset by softer performance in the hotel investments and fee-based segments.
Revenue from the residences segment rose 2.2 times in 2H2025, largely due to the completion and progressive handover of Angsana Oceanview Residences, Laguna Beach Residences Seashore, and Skypark Celeste Laguna Phuket condominiums.

In the hotel investments segment, revenue fell by 4% or $3.3 million in the second half of last year, amid weaker performance in Thailand. Fewer international arrivals and heightened domestic and regional political uncertainties during the period led to occupancy and revenue per available room (RevPAR) decreasing by 5 percentage points and 10 percentage points, respectively, compared to 2H2024.
As for the fee-based segment, revenue declined by 7% or $2.9 million y-o-y on lower fee recognition from branded residences projects. This was partly offset by improved contributions from managed hotels in Asia and revenue from newly opened hotels.
Net profit declined amid higher depreciation and amortisation expenses, increased net finance costs, lower share of associates’ profit, and higher income tax expense. It also came as operating profit from the hotel investments segment tumbled by 65% or $25.9 million in 2H2025, mainly due to the absence of a S$23.3 million Covid-19 insurance compensation that was recognised in its year-ago earnings.
During 2025, the group marked the milestone opening of its 100th resort, Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree.
It also expanded the branded residences portfolio with seven new launches during the year. These included Banyan Tree Madrid Residences, its first residential development in Europe, located in Madrid’s Salamanca district within a restored 1948 landmark.
The group recently introduced Bellaguna, a new standalone residential brand designed for year-round living, with its inaugural project, Bellaguna Lake Residences Lotus. The ocean-view, low-rise condominiums in Phuket, Thailand, sit beside a lake and within Laguna Phuket, an integrated destination resort.
