Shophouse at Kitchener Road for sale at $19.8 mil

KAH Development has put up a commercial shophouse building on Kitchener Road (below) for sale by EOI. According to marketing agent Cushman & Wakefield, the freehold property at 153 and 155 Kitchener Road has an asking price of $19.8 million.

Located on the city fringe, in the Jalan Besar Conservation Area, the property sits on a 2,879 sq ft site and has a GFA of 8,175 sq ft. It comprises two shophouses which have been refurbished and merged into a single building, with a single land title.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, the site enjoys high foot traffic, with shoppers coming from residences in the vicinity, as well as spillover pedestrian traffic from nearby retail malls such as City Square Mall and Mustafa Centre.

The property will be sold with vacant possession. The EOI exercise will close on Sept 12.
