Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Beverly Hill is an amazing condo, located in a prime location that's minutes away from Great World City, and, Orchard Road. The condo features amazing amenities such as a Swimming Pool, Basketball Court, Gym, and, Function Room. In addition, the condo has large units that are around 4,000 SQFT. The penthouse units here, are around 7000 SQFT though. However, Beverly Hill has some Karens who live there, that aren't the friendliest of people. But, I mean there are Karens in most condos in Singapore so its really hard to avoid Karens though. Therefore, Beverly Hill is an amazing condo with great amenities, that have some bad residence living there."
