Although the region is designated mainly for commercial activities, it houses residential developments ranging from HDBs to bungalows. There is also plenty of greenery in the region, linked by 19km of park connectors. According to the Master Plan 2019, Orchard and Downtown will be rejuvenated as a lifestyle hub to include more mixed developments which offer live, work and play opportunities. New housing will be constructed in the Marina South Area with community facilities and amenities. Stage-6 of the Circle Line opening by 2025 will also enhance the Central Region's connectivity.

"Very central, MRT & shopping mall a stone throw away, Tiong Bahru food centre and market within walking distance, a very happening area. Because it is so convenient, quite a number of apartments being leased out to companies operating co-living, with different occupants moving in and out - very happening indeed! "

"This condo security makes the visitors get out of the vehicles to register at the counter. This creates an additional and unnecessary contact. They should look at how to make it contactless to reduce the risk of covid19 transmission. And they are quite curt in executing this and make you feel unwelcomed. They may have to be firm but don't have to be rude."

"Centrally located, well maintained, spacious, LOTS of lush greenery and flowering plants. Spacious units with sensible layout mostly north-south facing (best for breeze ventilation). Right next to MRT, mall & park - plenty of dining options around. Short ride to Central Business District and Southern Ridges park."

"It is a nice old style condo, lots of greenery, with tennis courts. Convenient with near by amenities. Lost one star because the carpark layout and management could be better."
