Hilton debuts Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Japan with ski lodge hotel

Global hotel operator Hilton has announced the opening of The Green Leaf Niseko Village, Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Hokkaido. This marks the first foray of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand in Japan.
Situated at the foot of Mount Niseko Annupuri, the 200-room winter-season property is a ski-in and ski-out hotel with direct access to the Niseko Village Ski Resort. The hotel has an outdoor onsen called The Green Leaf Onsen, along with a wellness sanctuary, Juhyo Spa, and a fitness centre. For dining, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Goshiki, serves Japanese and Western cuisine, while Tomioka White is a social lounge in the lobby for light bites and coffee for apres-ski gatherings.

Blending comfort with design, the hotel collaborated with local artists to feature artworks by painter Soichiro Tomioka, and murals and designs by graphic designer and artist, Emi Shiratori. Its refurbished interiors were also designed by New York studio, Champalimaud Design.

This hotel joins over 180 Tapestry Collection by Hilton properties worldwide, offering elevated designs drawn from local, authentic experiences. Other Hilton properties in Japan include Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda, which opened in 2024, and upcoming Canopy by Hilton hotels in Okinawa and Tokyo, alongside a second Curio Collection by Hilton in Kyoto.
The Green Leaf Niseko Village, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is under Hilton Honors, a guest loyalty programme for 25 hospitality brands under Hilton. Hilton Honors members enjoy benefits such as flexible payment methods, exclusive member discounts, free standard wi-fi and a streamlined check-in process through the Hilton Honors app.
