Banyan Group’s portfolio of properties in China has expanded, coinciding with its 20th anniversary in the country. The hospitality company recently opened two new properties, the 222-key Angsana Zhoushan and the 100-key Homm Wenzhou Nanxijiang, both located in Zhejiang Province, Eastern China.
“Zhejiang’s landscapes and cultural heritage are a perfect fit for Angsana’s spirit of exploration and Homm’s welcoming comfort,” says Philip Ding, Banyan Group’s senior vice president for hotel operations and business development in China. “Both properties celebrate local traditions, promote ecological harmony, and reflect our commitment to design-led, sustainable hospitality,” he continues.
The openings bring Banyan Group’s portfolio of operating hotels in China, its largest market, to 36. The group says another two hotels, Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay and Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island, are scheduled to open later this year.
