Brandon Ng: From solo agent to landed property powerhouse

Real Estate Consultant Brandon Ng began his career in IT sales, marketing technology solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. A computer engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University, he eventually transitioned into real estate — a more people-centred industry. For Ng, the shift was a natural progression — instead of helping companies improve their IT systems and security, he now guides clients through their property journey with the same problem-solving approach.
Ng had always aspired to specialise in the landed property sector, drawn by the uniqueness and prestige of this niche market. However, as a solo agent, he lacked the opportunities and mentorship needed to develop the essential skills for this field.
In 2013, he joined Teresa Tan's Landed7772 group, a move that gave him the platform to pursue his dream. Today, as Senior Team Director, Ng is part of the Landed7772 team leader and deal maker, brokering multi-million-dollar deals with confidence and expertise.

"Joining the team opened doors and completely transformed my perspective on the real estate industry," says Ng, with over 18 years of experience in the industry, mainly in the landed property segment, particularly in Districts 14, 15 and 16.
His progression from a solo agent to a Top 10 Achiever (Champion), Super Diamond and multiple Super Platinum award winner at OrangeTee & Tie in 2024 highlights his belief that collaboration and teamwork are essential for his long-term success in real estate. As a testament to his consistent performance, he was also ranked Top Nine at OrangeTee & Tie, receiving prestigious awards such as Rising Millionaire status and being the 1st runner-up in private residential sales for the year 2024.
"Moving from a solo role to being part of a united team gave me the foundation to build lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues," he says. The strong sense of camaraderie within the team deepened his commitment to real estate, proving that joint success often exceeds what can be achieved alone.

Team spirit

Sharing success as a team not only leads to winning results but also provides Ng with the motivation and resilience needed to excel in real estate. His cheerful and friendly manner allows him to easily integrate into the team and connect with buyers and sellers, whether they own landed properties or are upgrading from a condo. Additionally, his proficiency in using IT and digital marketing tools like enhanced AI videography to showcase properties makes him a valuable team member.
Ng's discipline really shines as he consistently secures listings, whether from new developers or through client referrals. One of the exciting properties he's currently showcasing is a beautiful new detached house in District 13 at Sommerville Walk, priced at $11.98 million. It is developed by a boutique firm known for its luxurious projects, making it a truly impressive listing.
"We all have different strengths and weaknesses, but there is a limitation to how much you can achieve if you do it alone. For instance, you can only be at one place at a time, which can be challenging as you may have multiple listings to juggle," says Ng. "Being in charge of what we are good at helps us become more efficient and progress further."

The team plays an advisory role to buyers and sellers by offering guidance on pricing based on data and on timing based on market insights, to provide strong justification for choosing a particular property. Timeline management is another valuable service, especially when a seller is using proceeds from the sale of an existing property to fund the purchase of a new one.
In 2024, Ng sold seven detached homes within six months, including a $18 million brand-new detached house in Broadrick Road, thanks to the team's collaborative efforts. Ng gained the trust of the developer to market the property while his colleague found a client who offered the appropriate price.
Ng, an avid traveller, frequently goes on holidays to recharge. He took six holidays in 2024, and during one of the holidays, he managed to sell two detached houses worth around $18 million and $9 million, and this is only possible because of the teamwork that Landed7772 provides.
"I'm able to take breaks because I trust my team to keep things running smoothly in my absence. The breaks allow me to recharge without affecting my career momentum, striking a good balance between work and well-being," he says. Dedicated and committed mentor

Landed7772 offers an on-the-job training programme for both new and experienced agents aspiring to specialise in landed property. As a senior team leader, Ng trains and mentors new trainees who join the programme. It includes classroom-based theory lessons, soft skills development, training in technical tools and hands-on experience with real-time clients, allowing trainees to earn as they learn.
Ng says: "Be open-minded and embrace the programme as the methodology really works. One should avoid overthinking, follow instructions, and you will taste success."

Ng attributes his growth and achievements to the strong mentorship of Tan, owner and founder of Landed7772. As his boss, mentor and partner, she has been instrumental in shaping his journey, providing not only strategic guidance but also personal support every step of the way. Her ability to lead by example and her commitment to nurturing her team have been key factors in helping Ng close deals with confidence and consistency.
