FOUND ON THE EDGE: HDB flat near Bedok Mall up for sale

A 646 sq ft 3-room HDB flat at 32 Chai Chee Avenue is on the market for $320,000 or $495 psf. The mid-floor unit attracted the most views on TheEdgeProperty.com last week.

According to the marketing agent, Kevin Bai from ERA, the flat is currently vacant and in good condition. Currently, there is no ethnic quota restriction for the listing according to Ethnic Integration Policy (EIP).

The block is within 500m from Bedok Mall and Bedok Integrated Transport Hub. Schools nearby include East Coast Primary School, St. Stephen’s School and Opera Estate Primary School which are located within 1km from the development.

The average prices for recent transactions of 3-room flats in the vicinity ranges from $379 psf to $555 psf. In October, there were two 3-room flat transactions within 500m from the subject property. A 786 sq ft unit was sold for $395,000 ($503 psf) and a 721 sq ft unit changed hands at $385,000 ($534 psf).
