Frasers Hospitality to open 18 new serviced, hotel residences across Asia by 2028

In line with its focus on serviced living in Asia, Frasers Hospitality will open 18 new serviced and hotel residences across the region by 2028.
The expansion pipeline is anchored by a new Fraser Suites flagship in Bangkok, Thailand. This is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will debut the refreshed Fraser Suites brand with curated, experience-led programming.
Located within the top 10 floors of a 45-storey premium office tower integrated with the One Bangkok Retail development, the 261-room property will offer personalised service, contemporary Thai-inspired design, two dining venues and curated wellness offerings.

The lodging investor-operator, a business unit of Frasers Property, said in an April 2 announcement that demand for serviced residences across Asia continues to be supported by increased cross-border mobility, longer average stays and evolving work-travel patterns.
Six new signings across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and Japan are set to strengthen Frasers Hospitality’s development pipeline in key Asian markets. Two of these properties are expected to commence operations this year.
Chew Hang Song, chief operating officer of Frasers Hospitality, notes that with continued urbanisation and economic growth within Asia, the region is well-positioned in creating “sustained demand” for longer stays.
“Our strategy centres on investing in assets and brands that are designed for extended living, are operationally resilient and remain relevant across market cycles,” adds Eu Chin Fen, CEO of Frasers Hospitality.
In Southeast Asia, it will add two properties in Malaysia by 2Q2026 and open its fourth property in Vietnam.
In Malaysia, Capri by Fraser, Penang — located near George Town — will offer 248 rooms and communal spaces designed for independent, experience-focused travellers. Fraser Residence Putrajaya will provide 283 serviced apartments with family-oriented facilities.

Meanwhile, Fraser Place Roppongi Tokyo, which is slated to open in 3Q2026, will feature 120 serviced apartments.
