Lian Beng Group wins $136.8 mil development contract for former Raintree Gardens site

On Nov 28, Lian Beng Group announced that its subsidiary, Lian Beng Construction, has won a $136.8 million contract for the proposed condominium development at Potong Pasir Avenue 1.

It won the contract from UVD (Projects), which is a 50:50 joint-venture between UOL Group and United Industrial Corporation, which bought the former HUDC Raintree Gardens site through a collective sale in October 2016.

The project will comprise three blocks of 20-storey, two blocks of 19-storey, and four blocks of eight-storey residential blocks, as well as two-storey carparks and ancillary facilities.

The contract period is 38 months and is expected to commence in December.
