Hilton has opened two Spark by Hilton hotels in India, marking the brand’s debut in Asia Pacific (Apac). The hotels, located in Bengaluru and Goa, are managed by Hilton as part of a licensing agreement between the global hospitality company and Olive Hospitality, a unit of Indian real estate developer Embassy Group.
Under the agreement, which was signed in 2024, Hilton and Olive by Embassy will open 150 Spark by Hilton hotels across India. The first two hotels are the 82-key Spark by Hilton Bengaluru Marathahalli Outer Ring Road and the 64-key Spark by Hilton Goa Calangute.
“The debut of Spark by Hilton marks an important milestone in our bid to serve more guests across all stay occasions, while accelerating our ability to grow at scale with the right partners,” comments Alan Watts, president for Apac at Hilton.

More Spark by Hilton hotels are expected to open across key business and leisure areas in India over the coming years. These include properties in Jaipur, Rajkot and Hyderabad.
Spark by Hilton is an entry-level hotel brand that the group first launched in 2023. The brand is designed to provide accommodation at an accessible price point. Hilton has introduced the brand in various markets, with over 240 operating and nearly 230 properties in the pipeline across the US, UK, Canada and other international markets.
In India, Spark by Hilton will be tailored to local traveller preferences. For example, breakfast areas feature DIY dosa stations, while other amenities include self-serve chai carts and vending machines stocked with essentials such as chargers, batteries and snacks.
