Homes located in the Central Region that are within walking distance to MRT stations are especially coveted for their easy connectivity and convenience.
In this article, we round up the 10 most affordable freehold condos in the Central Region that are located within 500m from the nearest MRT station. To derive the figures, we looked at resale transactions that took place within the first 10 months 2018. Only projects with at least five transactions were considered in our analysis:

The freehold project comprises 142 units and is located on Lorong 28, Geylang.
Completed in 2008, Atrium Residences is situated near Aljunied MRT station and Geylang Methodist Primary and Secondary Schools.

The Sunny Spring comprises 338 units and is located on Lorong 40, Geylang.
Completed in 1998, it is near Dakota MRT station, and Kong Hwa and Broadrick Secondary Schools.

The 72-unit freehold project sits on Guillemard Road and was completed in 1998.
It is located near Dakota MRT station, and Kong Hwa and Broadrick Secondary Schools.
4) Le Crescendo
Avg transacted psf price in 2018: $1,135
The freehold project comprises 228 units and was completed in 2006.
Located on Paya Lebar Road, it is less than 500m to MacPherson MRT station.
Avg transacted psf price in 2018: $1,184
Le Hill Condominium comprises 97 units and was completed in 1999.
Located on Pasir Panjang Hill, the freehold project is near Haw Par Villa MRT station and lifestyle amenities like the Kent Ridge Canopy Walk.

The freehold project is located near Aljunied MRT station, and Kong Hwa and Broadrick Secondary Schools.
Completed in 2015, Rezi 26 is located on Lorong 26, Geylang and comprises 106 units.

Completed in 2014, La Fleur is situated on Lorong 26, Geylang and comprises just 58 units.
The freehold project is surrounded by various schools in the area. They include: Geylang Methodist Primary and Secondary Schools, and Kong Hwa and Broadrick Secondary Schools.

The Blossoms@Woodleigh, located at Woodleigh Close, comprises 240-unit and was completed in 2007.

The freehold project is located on Leicester Road. It was completed in 2008 and comprises 194 units.
It is less than 300m from Potong Pasir MRT station, and is close to St. Andrew’s Junior School and St. Andrew’s Secondary School.
10) Thomson 800
Avg transacted psf price in 2018: $1,298
The 390-unit Thomson 800 is located on Thomson Road and was completed in 1999.
It is less than 500m from Caldecott MRT station, and is near Marymount Convent School and Lighthouse School.
