SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and local real estate agency Huttons Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Nov 25 that commits both parties to collaborate in geospatial innovation and improving hyperlocal and granular real estate data in Singapore.
The innovations will benefit OneMap, an online map tool developed by SLA. “OneMap is the authoritative national map of Singapore with the most detailed and timely updated information developed by SLA,” says Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Group.
He adds that the collaboration will also enable Huttons agents to serve their clients better with detailed information like property transaction data, distance to schools and amenities. Huttons agents will also contribute real estate data to the OneMap database.

According to Colin Low, chief executive of SLA, “through more collaboration and innovation with the private sector, this will drive adoption of OneMap datasets to benefit more people and support Singapore’s drive towards a smart nation”.
The MOU will also see Huttons Group further integrate OneMap into their websites and applications.
