CapitaLand announces key executive appointments to support expansion

On Aug 28, CapitaLand announced key executive appointments to support its next phase of expansion.

“With global dynamics and technological advancements disrupting traditional business models, CapitaLand’s human capital must grow in tandem to drive the transformation of the Group,” says Lim Ming Yan, president & group CEO of CapitaLand. “We are strengthening our investment portfolios across various geographies as well as our operating platforms within each asset class. At the same time, we are reinforcing our physical and virtual real estate connections to create an omni-channel business model integrating offline and online.”

With effect from November 1, Wilson Tan Wee Yan, currently deputy CEO of CapitaLand Mall Asia, will be appointed CEO; Kevin Goh Soon Keat, currently chief operating officer of The Ascott, will be appointed CEO; Lynette Leong Chin Yee, currently CEO and executive director of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management, will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Commercial; Kevin Chee Tien Jin, currently head of asset management of CapitaLand Commercial Trust and senior vice president of asset management (commercial) of CapitaLand Singapore, will be appointed CEO of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management.

With effect from January 1, 2018, Jason Leow Juan Thong, currently CEO and executive director of CapitaLand Mall Asia, will be appointed group chief operating officer of CapitaLand; Lee Chee Koon, currently CEO of The Ascott, will be appointed group chief investment officer of CapitaLand; Tan Seng Chai, currently group chief corporate officer of CapitaLand, will be appointed group chief people officer; Ng Kok Siong, currently chief corporate development officer of CapitaLand, will be appointed group chief digital officer.
