Doris Tan joins London firm Benham and Reeves as regional director

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Property agent Doris Tan has joined London estate agent Benham and Reeves as a regional director within the company’s Singapore operations. The family-run agency has 17 branches in prime residential locations in London, as well as five international offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Prior to her move, Tan worked with property group Strawberry Star as well as JLL. She also has extensive experience working in international investment consultancies in London and Singapore, as well as within Southeast Asia. In her new role with Benham and reeves, Tan will focus on growing the sales division, specifically helping Singapore investors looking to expand their London property portfolios.

Despite wider market conditions causing a market slowdown across more general tiers of the UK property market, we’ve seen a sustained interest in London’s prime market from overseas investors and we want to ensure that we have the best team possible to enable our customers to invest correctly.”

Over the weekend of Oct 19 to 20, the company will showcase a collection of units from a West London project called White City Living. The units on offer are the final release of units under the first phase of sales, and include suites and one- to three-bedroom units. The development includes a residents club with concierge service, an entertainment suite, two 12-seater cinemas, and a business lounge.
