Lumina Grand, first EC project launch of 2024 draws 2,000 visitors

The first preview weekend of Lumina Grand, an executive condo (EC) project by City Developments Ltd (CDL), drew 2,000 visitors as of the evening of Jan 14. The 512-unit EC in the neighbourhood of Bukit Batok West has 10 blocks of 12- to 13-storeys on a 179,000 sq ft, 99-year leasehold site.

Units are a mix of three- to five-bedroom units with sizes from 936 to 1,496 sq ft. Apartments are priced from $1.338 million ($1,429 psf) for a three-bedroom, $1.388 million ($1,432 psf) for a three-bedroom premium from 980 sq ft, $1.628 million ($1,427 psf) for a 1,141 sq ft four-bedroom and $2.098 million ($1,402 psf) for a five-bedroom.

Lumina Grand is located at the junction of Bukit Batok West Avenue 5 and Bukit Batok Road, and provides easy access to three MRT stations, namely Bukit Gombak MRT Station on the North-South Line, and the upcoming Tengah Plantation and Tengah Park MRT Stations on the Jurong Region Line, which is expected to be operational by 2028.

Under the current EC regulations, only 30% of the units in the initial launch (the first 30 days) can be allocated to second-time buyers (those who have purchased a flat directly from HDB or who have purchased a resale flat with CPF housing).

E-applications which started on Jan 12 will close on Jan 22, with sales bookings to commence on Jan 27.
